Infertility question....?

My finance' and I have been trying to get pregnant for about 7 months now, and have had no luck. I do not have insurance yet, So I can not get help from a doctor. But I'm tired of hearing who just got pregnant, and seeing pregnant women, and babies every where, when I am wanting to have one really bad. I do not have a regular period. I haven't had a good one that lasted 5-7 days since February. I have taken ovulation test , there are no help either. And its got to the point where I am getting frustrated, because nothing seems to work. If you have any information PLEASE help. Thank You.

They say that it takes an average of 6 months to conceive. So you're not that far off from the average. There are lots of factors that affect your O, like nutrition, weight, stress, etc. If your periods are irregular charting your BBT won't probably work. There is a saliva test as well you might look into. Until you can see a specialist I'd suggest researching online and at the bookstore.

Good luck!!!

If you don't have insurance yet, then maybe this isn't the right time to be thinking about having babies. Prenatal care, delivery costs, and pediatric visits for the baby are very expensive. How would you pay for all of that without insurance?

With your history of irregularity, you may have PCOS or something else that might make it harder to conceive, but there is no way of knowing that without having a complete physical examination. Get your insurance situation squared away first, so that you can get the medical care you need, and so that you will have coverage for yourself and your child when you do get pregnant.

Best of luck to you!

You really ought to see a doctor. Irregular periods could be a symptom of PCOS (PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome). If that is the case with you, you would need medical help to get prego.

In some months, women just do not ovulate and it is normal. So do not give up on the ovulation tests just yet. And, in addition to OPK you can also use methods like Basal Body Temperature (BBT) charting, Cervical Mucus (CM) charting etc to know when you are ovulating.

Some women have other signs of ovulating as well, like lower abdominal pain, cramps, light spotting etc. If your body usually gives you these signs, you can use them along with the other ones to get a clearer picture.

Good luck conceiving!

go to a health food store and ask them for something natural to aide you. I don't know what is out there but I know some people go that route with some luck......sorry I couldn't be more help we used clomid from the doctor, although I think you can order it without a prescription over the internet, but who knows if that is safe..........good luck

your temperature will be slightly higher then other days take your tem every morning around the same time..
but I agree with the notion that you better get insurance first monthly check ups and such are just around the corner!

good luck!

You must not be having sex on your ovulation day that's the only time you can get pregnant.
