Does anyone agree that infertility is the hardest thing? also do you think my doc will prescribe clomid?

well the first thing i want to add is been a bit upset this week as all 3 of my coz (16-21) are pregnant. all before me when i have been trying for 3 and a half years after a miscarriage. How do i deal wit it. I aint jelous but it just upsets me because it was what i wanted for so long it really hard to keep my self positive if ya know what i mean. Also i have been to docs and i am not ovulating but i have had a pelvic scan wfich was fime and me boyfriends sperm count that was fine got another blood test just to make sure i not ovulating. Do you think he will prescribe me clomid?

16 women i know have had babies or still pregnant since we started trying... at first i was good at faking happyness for them.... now i use the avoidence technique!

Not good... i'll probabky end up with no friends left but its helping me stay sane... just about...

How has it been proven ur not ovulating? Just wondered as i've had the internal scan and the lady told me i have PCOS. Had the blood tests but still awaiting discussing the results with my GP. I'm not sure if i am ovulating myself, been using opks but never had a positive result. Assumed i was doing the test wrong as i only get a faint LH line when i technically should be ovulating and nothing at all rest of month. They never match in colour.

Inferility isnt fair... it isnt gods will... it isnt fate... its just cruel... how do they know when it will be "our time"

whats alsos cruel is making you sit in same waiting room as pregnant mothers while waiting to have an ultra sound to see if you can have children... that was me yesterday....

Sorry for the bitterness lol

As for the clomid... If your not ovulating they gotta prescribe something!

Keep in touch hun... would be good to go through this with women who understand.

Hi there,
I completely feel your pain. I went through that for 7 years and now have a fantastic baby boy. Don't give up. Have you been referred to a fertility clinic. They can do tests etc to get a clearer picture on what is happening. After 5 years of TTC I finally went to my dr, was referred and then had loads of tests etc. We concieved on my first Clomid cycle.

if ur not ovulating got to a reproductive endrochronligist..they are one of the best . i was not ovulating few years back and i got sorted out with those ppl. plus i think ive stopped ovulating again .. but doctors wont agree with me !!! even though i should know my own body .
good luck and yes he / she might put you on clomid

If you are not ovulating then yes, most likely your Dr will perscribe clomid.
It is frustrating, I know. 3 and a half years is a long time. I wish you the best of luck.

first of all you have all my simpathy.
I have only one tube and my period is very irregular.
I've been TTC for the last 16 months.
Had miscarriage in back in Feb 2008 and since April I keep getting thrush which prevents us to have sex and get pregnant :(
All my close friends are getting pregnant beside me.. :(
I had a cry again this morning cause it is so frustrating and really gets you deeply.
If you are not ovulating then they most lickely give you clomid.
baby dust to you.. I wish you to ah 2009 baby! :)
