I think that is not statistically nor scientifically supported. But whenever unnecessary to put your laptop at the top of your lap, place it somewhere else like a table, you won't get tired having it on top of your lap for a long time. Ask your doctor if you have the risk of being unfertile or check any records of your family for infertility do you may not be wrongly judged your laptop as the culprit if in case you discover you are infertile. But I appreciate your question to be a source topic if more laptop users who put them on their laps most of the time have the a higher risk of infertility.

I believe the primary concern with laptops on the lap is from the radiation caused by the internal components. No, it will not harm you. The amount is so small, it would take years of constant exposure to affect even a bug.

The first poster is correct as well though, and a simple solution is to not use a laptop before you "get busy".

evaohell is right. Increased heat in the crotch does lower the live sperm count, which can make getting a woman pregnant harder.

Which is why when men go to have issues looked at to increase their chances for getting a woman pregnant, several of the things they are told to do are wear boxers not briefs or bikini, because this holds the scrotum too close to the body, too warm...and in some more extreme cases, wear special underwear with pockets for ice packs.
