For those of you undergoing infertility test and paying out of pocket how much did you pay? I think it depends on the test. When I was doing this back in 2004, the sonograms were about $175. each. The sperm tests were about $150. each. The blood work was a few hundred, depending on how many they ran. The HCG test was about $700. Then Clomid, which I just recently had to pay out of pocket for was $50. I can't find the rest of my info on the other tests right now, but I hope this helps. The tests don't cost anything in Ontario but if you are referred to an RE who orders the tests they may require you to pay an administrative fee before they begin the investigations. At my clinic, we paid over $200 in administrative fees before we even started the whole process and we had already paid a male reproductive specialist $70 to see my husband about his sperm analysis. I don't know first hand but I know my sister in law had her husband tested first and it was around $75 out of pocket...her hormone testing just required an office visit. |

Pulling out isn't the safest method around, but I know a lot of p... the burning is definitely normal and I'm pretty sure they tell you not to use on the genital area mainly because it could probably cause infection or burns if you dont make sure you completely... You have a low count but the quality of your sperm is very good. I would say you have a good chance, as long as your partner lays down for about 20 mins after or even elevates her hips after. Als... i dont think that insurance will pay for fertility treatment, and if thats what you need then there is no other way around it i am afraid. Fingers crossed though that you will be fine. ...I don't know bout chu' but if I got a FINE man wit me and I drink enough of it...I don't think so.
