What is the main cause of infertility?

Endometriosis is the leading cause, accounting for nearly half of all cases, followed by tubal blockage, PCOS, ovulation problems, poor egg quality, environmental exposure to toxicants (chemicals, additives, pollutants, etc.) and the male factor. Idiopathic (unexplained) infertility also affects upwards of 20% of couples.

Infertility due to many reasons.Man and woman should be tested and examined.Male sperm count below the required number may result in childless couples.Low moblity /defective sperms may be another cause.
From woman side,faliure of ovaries/defective ovum.block of fallopian tubes/defective uterus/hormone problems/thyroid.cancer/cysts inuterus and hundred reasons are there.You have to go to an fertility clinic.
Some times married couples stay away and have sex rarely due to occupation at different places.You have to ensure that at least one year the couple had been together and had regular (un protected sex) sex and no pregnancy resulted,before,going to clinic.
