Is infertility possible after birth control pill?

Is infertility possible after birth control pill?

A lot of women blame birth control pills for infertility, but usually it is because they are delaying birth. We are all marrying older now, so we have kids later in life. SayI have been taking birth control pills for 15 years from 20 -35, and now I want to have a kid at 35. What you might forget is that fertility naturally declines over time, and a 35 year old will naturally have more problems than a 20 year old when it comes to having babies easily.

So short answer: no. Because OC's can help protect a bit agains pelvic inflammatory disease and other problems like endometrial cancer and ovarian cancer, they actually INCREASE fertility in women who take them over 5 years. So don't worry too much about that.
It depends on if you are on the pill or have the birth control shot.
After stopping the pill, it typically takes about 2 months for ovulation to resume.
Of course, if you are permanently sterile... you won't need to worry about pills, etc.
alot of it depends on what type of pill your on, but they test these things out for a reason. unless other factors come into play, no, they wont cause permanate infertility.
