I have PCOS (or PCOD) and was diagnosed back in 97, now I'm 21. It can lead to it, the best you can do is take them meds prescribed and diet and exrcise. It helps to keep a healthy weight. Source(s): http://www.4woman.gov/faq/pcos.htm...

PCOD is one of the reasons for infertility not permanent infertility.
