In preadolescent males, infertility due to mumps is not common, but if the male is into adolescence or beyond, yes, mumps can involve the orchids and yes, infertility can be one complication. Get your children immunized! Yes. I'm not sure at what age. I would talk to your doctor. There is medication so they cause any problems for men. They gave my father medication who was 59 at the time when my mother was exposed to the mumps in a restaurant she was working in 1973. She exposed the rest of the family to the mumps. |
