Sperm count is quite technical, but one of the factors affecting sperm count (ergo fertility) is the time of last ejacuation.
There is sperm in every ejaculation, but the number of viable sperm may be affected d/t frequent ejaculation. In other words, if you are experiencing fertility issues, you should try to allow 48 hours in between ejaculations to allow for your viable sperm count to return to adequate levels.
This is NOT a method of birth control, however!
So, permanant infertility, NO. Temporary decrease in viable sperm and decrease of sperm count, yes. Is it a foolproof method of birth control, NO.

The oly downside it can have is a sore penis and you might start to prefer your hand to the real human touch!

Lots of masterbation just means you have to keep making more sperm, you have an endless supply so just enjoy!
