Is it true that cats cause infertility? |
Is it true that cats cause infertility? Gosh, of course not!!!! The only thing that you have to be careful of, and this is a very rare thing. There is a parasite called toxoplasmosis that can be passed through a cats feces. If you are pregnant, have someone else change the litter box. Again, this is very very rare. As far a not getting pregnant because of your cat.....this is myth. That's the most idiotic thing I ever heard. What is wrong with you? er NO my sister has 3 cats and 10 kids! No. They can cause problems to an unborn child if the litter box is not clean. http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/c/congenit... Thats the first I have heard of in my medical career. Cats can cause congenital deformity in the child though if you are exposed to cats during pregnancy. Its called toxoplasmosis. I hope not, man. They cause raised blood pressure if they're psycho and piss you off a lot though. |
