We are ttc and just now found out my hubby's sperm count has less than average motility. This is my first cycle on clomid 50mg and I have a regular cycle of 29 days. My first day of my last periods was april 27th and today is day 19 since i got my periods.I had u/s on day 14 (may 10th) and had only one follicle at size 8mm. Doctor said im not responding to 50mg clomid and should avoid this cycle. I had another u/s yesterday on day 18(may 14th) and found the follicle is now about 15mm and i had two more small follicles. I have one more u/s on thursday(thats day 21 -may 17th).Doctor said if the follicle grows we will go for IUI this cycle ,since all that we need is 1 egg. I'm wondering since I'm ovulating so late...will this be a good egg to go ahead with IUI. Same doctor told me that this egg was not good when u/s was done on day 14. I am worried since I am expecting my periods on may 25th.. going in for IUI this late, is it advisable? Will late ovulation affect quality of egg?
