Has anybody tried Metformin to treat infertility caused by PCOS?

Do you guys know the success rate? Does it also work in thin woman or is there no need to take it if you are not obese?

Metformin works on all body types. The outrageous hormone levels are caused from the pcos, and insulin is one of them. Meformin just helps to maintain your insulin levels. It really doesn't help with infertility, although, my doctor says it's supposed to, But, I have read some negative stuff about metformin, and I was also told I would have a menstral cycle after two weeks of taking it, I have now been on it for a year, and haven't had a period in two years. Just do as much research, hear are some websites that might help you with your search. Source(s): www.soulcysters.net
