What are the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome and how can i treat it myself ??? |
i believe i may have IBS but it has not been confirmed by the doctor yet. Keep bugging your doctor!! I kept going with abdominal pains and other symptoms and I'm sure he thought I was making it up. He then said I had IBS and tried Colofac and other meds but it kept getting worse, so I kept going back. He eventually referred me to hosp where they found I had Crohn's Disease! It's your body and you should know when something doesn't feel right. IBS = Stomach cramping after food, very painful bloating/wind and the squits or constipation. Could be caused by a particular food intolerance or stress Bloating, irregular bowel movements, food intolerances, general malaise. It is difficult to treat, possibly the best home method is a herbal detox. Plus stay away from trigger foods. stomach aches.. I've had IBS for 23 years and no doctor has ever ran any tests on me. I knew I had it by watching Good Morning on ITV 1 when their doctor described the symptoms of mine to a T. i've got it too, the doc prescribed Colofac and it's working! I've had IBS for years and nothing worked. Then I joined Weightwatchers and cut out fizzy drinks. I upped my fruit & veg intake (I now eat tons of every different type) and the IBS just disappeared. Maybe it was just time for it to go, but I really do think it is the healthy diet. Symptoms are discomfort, bloating, wind, feeling hungry constantly and craving junk food. I know because I suffer with it but I am much better now thanks to my wonderful homeopath. I was diagnosed with IBS after an endoscopy at a private hospital. I was then put on tablets such as Buscopan which sort of help but you have to keep on taking them. However, my homeopath said my problem was with wheat and she put me on an elimination and then a re-introduction diet plan. I did not take any remedies. It worked! I still have to go for 3monthly checks if things start to feel bad but thats it. I highly recommend it! Good luck and speedy recovery. ibs causes your stomach to bloat after some foods you get very bad cramps also constipation and diorreha all you need to do ia avoid fatty foods and spicy foods all so seewhat else triggers it off good luck |
