Is lower pelvic pain a symptom of Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

Is lower pelvic pain a symptom of Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

I have IBS and i do get lower pain in my pelvic region, its a sort of sharp pain nobody can really describe. If you go to the bathroom frequently, and are loose or soft, go when your stressed or nervous, it could be IBS. Otherwise it could also be just gas pains, simple as that. Try gas-x or beano and try those to see if they work, or go see a doc.

Frequent constipation or the opposite is a sure sign of IBS, either can be painful but is not 'pelvic' pain...

Go see your gyn Dr. to make sure there's not some nasty cyst on one of your ovaries.

Not necesarily, i had that once, and i had a bladder infection.. or it could be appendicitus! Go to the dr.
