Irritable bowel syndrome?

i have suffered for years with it and i am finding it very hard to deal with i am tired all the time and feel ill all the time my doctor doesnt seemt o be doing anything about it i have had so many things shoved and poked in me for tests lol. is there any body out there who suffers with it the cramps are the worst thing and the being sick. i dont know how to deal with it

help!!!!!!!

I was diagnosed with it when i was younger. It's not too bad now though.

The biggest set-off was ice cream on an empty stomach

Ooh ya bugger! It was like WW3 going off in my tummy!

I still get a really bad stomach much more often than most folk (like yesterday when i was watching the flippin world cup!)

The only thing that could have set it off was that I've been eating LOADS of fruit recentley (like 10 portions a day)

I find a hottie bottie helps, but obviously its a bit hot for it!

If you make a fist, press it onto the bit that hurts and rock back and forth, i find that helps too

Just remember that after your visit to the loo, drink lots of water to replace the lost fluids
I know some people who have dealt with it, they write it off as just having a sensative stomach.

I do know you have to watch your diet, some foods are harsher than others.

Also there are medications one can use.

There is also sometimes a confusion between IBS and someone being nervous or anxious about something. (not saying you are.)

heres a resource for you...

i do, i find that some things make it worse like caffine smoking and stress
aint found any other way of dealing with it part from scream and bear it
Take a good organic fiber. It will take a few weeks. Do not eat any junk or processed foods
I have had it for 12 years. Yes its awful and no, its not all psychological like the Drs say. I have tried all the tablets there are and herbal stuff and NOTHING works.

It can be anything food wise that sets me off. Usually pizza, pasties sometimes even a bar of chocolate.
I have had a baby in February and didnt suffer from it at all whilst pregnant, but now its back and making up for lost time.
Fybogel, Lactulose, Kaolin and Morphine and a hot water bottle are the main things an IBS sufferer needs!
