Irritable bowel syndrome please help?


i have been diagnosed with it 18 months ago, dont hve blood in the stool but severe stomach upset and the stools come out like water, have been on medication and it doesnt help have changed a lot of my diet and nothing seems to work . should i go back to the doctor and demand further tests ,even for Cancer. its such a worry please help as sometimes i cant go out and im only 42!!

my dad had bowel cancer it started with him being mis-diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome badger your doctor into giving you more tests better to sure ..sorry to scare you with this story but dont let them fob you off ps dads still going and hes just turned 80
get a second opinion n try a dietician for ur diet
Lots of fiber, a good pro biotic/prebiotic and a real good multivitamin worked for me. But still get checked further for other problems.
