Ive got irritable bowel syndrome, how do i get rid of it?im booked in for a pelvic ultrasound soon im scared!? Balony, don't listen to anyone who says you just need to learn to live with it, I had it really bad for twenty years, until I heard about colonics. Within a year I concidered myself completely healed. I believe in colonics so much ( always say I believe it saved my life ) that I became a colon hydrotherapist myself. There are other things you need to adress of course, mostly the emotional issues, also castor oil packs work amazing. If you are interested in any of this let me know, I will explain what it all is. But KNOW that you can get better, and PLEASSSSSE don't take medication, it is a easy temporary fix that covers the problem but doesn't solve the issue, and usually has a bunch of side effects. Good luck Erm sorry hun but you don't get rid of it you have to learn to live with it btw a pelvic ultrasound is a simple painless procedure, don't worry Don't be scared. You will be ok. You have to change the way you eat. Don't eat after 8pm. Drinks lots of water and eat lots of fruits and vegetables. You will be fine, I am praying for you. lay off dairy. It seems to irritate bowls alot. A pelvic unltrasound is not more uncomfortable than a smear, just lay back and look at the ceiling! its a case of managing IBS, trying to find out what your 'triggers' are and eliminating them. There are lots of websites dealing with this, just put in the name into a search engine Depends what's causing it - try cutting things out of your diet. I had to stop eating chicken for over a year. Smoking is also a no-no, if you smoke, you gotta give that up as well. Massaging your stomach in a circular motion with a blend of lemon and lavender (with a carrier oil) is also good. Lastly, try not to stress out... Good Luck!!! IBS is not "got rid of", it is lived with. You alter your diet, get enough fiber, drink enough fluid and avoid foods that cause symptoms. A pelvic ultrasound? for what? IBS is neither treated nor diagnosed with an ultrasound, one has to have a colonoscopy and an endoscopy and a barium swallow to properly diagnose IBS. Is the doctor trying to identify some other issue? Not sure what you are afraid of, ultrasounds don't hurt. |
