I developed Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) because of stress is there a specific remidy that can cure me?


I have read about diets that involve more fiber and less fat along with pills. I dont like taking the pills because of the cost and I dont want to be stuck with this for life is there any hope?

The are medication but they have bad side effects, like weight gain.... Just try to stick to the diet the doctor gives you
Stich your butt up.
if your bowels are irritable, just give them some space. when they cool down sit down and have a talk with them about their feelings. this always works with me.
stay away from foods that are too acidic, greasy or have too much dairy...secondly, try using an otc for acid-reflux...prilocec helped emensely, eventhough it isn't prescribed for ibs.

I also have this and if it get really out of control you'll need to get on a sulfa prescription drug from the doctors. You can go to the store and buy an over the counter reliever called-- Equalin. Follow the directions on the box, it works!

But...... IBS will always flare up on you if you don't fight a way to manage your stress. I know it's easier said than done.. but stress does unbelievable things to your physical as well as mental well-being.
