This is about Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).?

I believe I am suffering from this and the medication that my current doctor is prescribing does not seem to help, as a matte of fact I think it is hurting. Right now all they are doing is having me take a generic form of Prilosec and I think it is making me less tolerant of acid, while not helping the key symptom at all, which is gas. I can get it to calm down with diet changes, but no matter what I do, I can not get through a day or night without episodes of it erupting and it gets out right disgusting when the diarrhea kicks in out no where.

My basic question is, what kinds of medication are out there that helps this condition, especially medications that might help the gas. I could tolerate the diarrhea if I could control the gas; it is the combination that really kills me.

LOTS of fiber and whole grains and the best multivitamin on the market is The Vitality Pack by Melaleuca. That plus their Florify and Provex will totally eliminate the problem. Or at least I have not found anyone that has tried this and not had success. I was not full blown IBS but I had colon issues. Now I can eat anything!!!
