Does anybody know the best remedy for IBS (irritable bowel syndrome)? |
Does anybody know the best remedy for IBS (irritable bowel syndrome)? I don't think there is a remedy. You may find this helpful though Stay away from excessive fats & spicy foods. Eat yoghurt with the healthy bacterias. Stay away from sugary food and drinks. Reduce stress levels. Improve quality of sleep. Don't eat too much red meat. Eat a well balanced diet with lots of fruit & veg.included high fibre. Drink plenty of water. Check for candida (yeast infection) the halleluia diet is awesome- raw food is very good for your system. You will need a very good diet to beat this, and you can do it www.hacres.net The only 2 people I have ever known of with this were very competitive even somewhat sadistic people; not that 2 people is a good base for judgement. I know people who have had good luck with this and it's herbal--no side effects-- http://tinyurl.com/2nsepx http://tinyurl.com/2nsepx I have IBS, and have found that it can be managed by eating a healthy diet that includes lots of fiber, especially soluble fiber b/c it is more gentle and helps both constipation and diarrhea. Good sources of fiber (in general): -Fruits and veggies. -Whole grains (whole grain bread, whole grain pasta, etc) -Metamucil and other fiber supplements. A few good sources of soluble fiber: -Apples -Bananas -Carrots -Oat bran -Beans One more tip- I find that it helps to start out the day with a bowl of high fiber cereal. Some of my favorites are: -Frosted Mini-Wheats -Raisin Bran -Quaker Oat Squares (has soluble fiber) -Kashi Heart-to-Heart w/ oat flakes and wild blueberry clusters (also has soluble fiber) |
