What is a Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Attack?

Symptoms of IBS can come and go, and depend on a number of things. Symptoms include excessive gas, pain, intestinal cramping, diarrhea, constipation, nausea/vomiting (rare). Some people have diarrhea almost exclusively, some have constipation almost exclusively, and some alternate between the two.
