Irritable bowel syndrome and lactose -what can i eat?

what things are found in the super market ?

Look for something without alot of chemicals or preservatives. I usually drink soy milk or organic milk as I find everything else very heard on my stomach. Stay away from alot of spices and even gum for that matter as it churns of the acids in your stomach.

I don't know about listing a site where you can buy foods online. Try doing a little research on Google to see if theres a facility near you taht has online shopping.

I like things like Horizon milk or Silk soymilk and I try to get foods low in sugar like a fat free popcorn or oatmeal bars.

If you're lactose intolerant, Costco has Lactaid -- a pill to allow digestion of lactose foods to compensate for the enzyme that's supposed to do the job.
Irritable bowl and lactose loss describes what I have and that is Colitus, I have found out the best thing to eat is alot of good quality live cultured yogurts. Trust, me it helps!!!

As regards the lactose problem, you can get lactose free milk at the major supermarkets such as Coles and Woolworths.
I see you have the same problem as I do. Replace dairy products with "Lactaid" products. It comes in milk, ice cream, and cottage cheese, so far. They have not yet made cheese, or butter, but Smart Balance Organic Tub Margarine is Lactose Free, also.
You really need to just read the ingredients, and avoid products that contain milk. Lactaid tastes just like regular milk.
If you like soy products you can use those instead, but I find them nasty.
