Liposuction??

I just wanted to hear from someone who has had lipo. Do they take out alot of fat or just enough to smooth things out? Tell me your story. Did it leave a big scar? Is it painful? Afterwards did you weigh alot less? Let me know

I only had liposuction as part of another procedure where they take fat from one part of your body and inject it into your face.

The scars from liposuction are very small and within a year, my scars were not even visible. You shouldn't expect to lose much weight from liposuction, it is more for recountoring the body to give you a better shape. You tend to lose inches rather than pounds and may find you fit into a smaller dress size.

It was a little uncomfortable because I was awake during the procedure, the only way to describe it is like a really strong stinging sensation. Afterwards you will be sore, bruised and swollen for a couple of weeks.

Once those fat cells have been removed with liposuction, although they can't return, it doesn't mean you still can't gain weight in the treated areas if you don't eat well and exercise regularly. Or sometimes you can have liposuction for one problem area and if you gain weight, you end up with too much fat gain in another area!
