Liposuction?

My friend's niece is only 17 years old and wants to get lipo on her thighs(she's very thin everywhere else though) and her mom is actually considering letting her get it! Is it just me or is she way too young to get it?

She should wait until she is at least 18. Has she already tried diet and exercise. Liposuction should be a last resort. If she just has fatty deposits that no amount of healthy eating and workouts can shift, then she is a perfect candidate, but she should still wait until she is 18. HTH : )She is way too young. Her mother is an idiot. In fact, if she can find a doctor who is willing to do the procedure on her, then she should run away as quickly as possible.
She is definitely too young. Her mom should be encouraging her to be happy with herself and stressing good body image.
This very young to have the process done. Her mom should look for alternative methods such as a healthy and natural no diet weight loss plan that is safe for teenagers (My wife and I are currently on one we found). Surgery should always be the last resort and only if your life and health depend on it. For your friends and for her daughters sake please pass this on.
