Liposuction?

I'm thinking about having liposuction but I'd like to hear from people who have had it. How much did it cost where did you have it done ( I'm in UK) did it really do what you wanted it to do and how much smaller was you? I'd like all the details and stories so i know what to look out for.

Don't do it.

A friend of a friend had liposuction in her stomach. She maintained it by doing sit ups and cardio. Two years later, her calves and arms got unbelievably large. The fat that was removed found other odd places to go. She looks disgusting now. The thing is, she didn't look bad before.

Don't just look at before and after pictures, look at the long term effects.

My friend does lipo. Cost is a couple $1000. He says don't expect you will be a complete beauty when you come out. Everyone's body is different and will achieve different results, some better than others. Do lipo only if you can't lose weight by working out.
Some people have died from lipo but the cases are very small. If you heal pretty good you should have no problems. Surgery will hurt a lot once you are out- like someone beat you up. You will be very bruised for a few days.
Make sure the doctor you get lipo is creditable since there aren't as many requirements to do plastic surgery as it is to be a real surgeon.
Finally keep up your looks but eating right and excerising properly. Otherwise you'll be wasting your time.

lipo is never a good
Liposuction should only be considered, as someone has already mentioned, if you cant lose weight by working out.

My aunt has has liposuction several times, and she has never quite managed to maintain the same figure. That's because it is an instant change. You go into surgery, and come back out with noticeably less fat. You maintain the same lifestyle, same eating habits, and exercise regime, and so start putting weight back on.

Although, I'm sure you've probably considered what I've mentioned, make sure you know enough about it first.
