Liposuction? |
I know i know ~ i've reviewed pros and cons, and i know the benefits of eating healthy and exercising blah blah~ i decided on lipo. Can you share your experience and what i should know about it before i get it done? Liposuction was for me reasonably painless. I have had two area's done now, the last being my belly and that was on Friday (4 days ago now), the pain afterwards is more like soreness from the gym than real pain, I took pain killers on the day of the operation and have not needed any since. Make sure that you are comfortable with your surgeon, I had a great one here in Australia. If you have area's of fat that you cannot shift with exercise like i did then I fully recommend having Liposuction, i do not think it is a solution for overall weightloss though as that is unrealistic. Look at SmartLipo (laser) I had regular Liposuction last time and SmartLipo this time and it was quicker and much less swelling and bruising. Good luck Source(s): Had lipo myself. it looks too scary or i would go too. there must be a easier less painfull way. when they put you to sleep i heard people have died, sorry to scare you but i watch those shows If you're going to get liposuction, make sure to find a reputable doctor. My aunt did not, and nearly died (not trying to scare you). Also, I'm sure you know this, but once you lipo one area, those fat cells migrate somewhere else. (for instance, you lipo your thighs, fat could migrate to your middle). uhmmmm i agree with the second answerer. definitely risky... get a doctor with a good reputation. ive watched those shows like dr 90210 and it looks harmless but surely those doctors are pros and the show is biased and slanted... |
