Liposuction? |
Will lipo on stomach make it flatter? I have a little, not much excess meat..the Dr said I was not a candidate for a tummy tuck (I guess this is a good thing). I scheduled an appointment for lipo on stomach, buttocks and upper leg...I am now getting nervous. Of course it makes it flatter! They are going to suction the fat cells right out of you. I hope you picked a competant plastic surgeon. (I hear that even DENTISTS are doing lipo these days!). Make sure you follow all instructions completely, ESPECIALLY wearing the elastic control garments they will give you, for the amount of time they say to. DON'T SKIMP! If there is fat to remove and the skin over it is pretty tight lipo can make you thinner. Tummy Tuck surgery makes things thinner and tighter when there is an excess of fat and skin and/or loosened muscle wall. I am a Plastic Surgeon. |
