Liposuction horror stories?

Liposuction success stories are always well marketed. Can anyone point me towards liposuction horror stories? Anyone have any good questions to ask the Doctor to reassure they know what they're doing?

When I was a student on my physical therapy rotation, I saw the result of a young female who had liposuction done to her legs. She wound up with an infection that grew into a flesh-eating form. They had to debride (clean off the dead tissue) down to her muscle and facia throughout her right leg, part of her abdomen and up to parts of her chest. She was sedated and on a ventilator, but I believe she eventually died.

I would ask the doctor what their specific infection rate is.
As with every cosmetic surgery, the most important thing to consider is selecting a trained and experienced cosmetic plastic surgeon, since it is legal for any doctor to do cosmetic surgery. A doctor like an opthalmologist can decide that cosmetic surgery is more profitable, watch someone do liposuction once and offer liposuction. So, make sure you check on the surgeon credentials, his training and years of experience. For questions to ask, check out http://www.cosmeticsurgeryphil.com/lipos...
