Does liposuction work? |
I want to have liposuction but scared whether it works or not. Yes it works! The only issue is, it is but a temporary fix. If a person wants to maintain that post-op figure, he or she has to change their lifestyle entirely. Exercise and Diet. I have considered lipo myself and here is what my doctor told me: It would be better to make an attempt at losing the weight the old fashioned way. Sure, its harder, but you will respect the end result more and will be less tempted to go back to your unhealthy life. So try diet and exercise. DOnt' get frustrated if the results aren't instantaneous. Here's another thing that can negate lipo. Each person has a natural weight they are supposed to be at. Our bodies will do what they can to be at that weight. The only way to manage it and change that "natural weight" is through the things I mentioned before. Good luck on your endeavers. By they way, I've lost 25 pounds doing Tae Kwon do and yoga--they are fun types of exercise! Well of course it works... you have fat, they suck it out. That doesn't mean that you won't gain it back though. liposuction isn't a treatment or cure for obesity... it's surgery. Liposuction is a cosmetic surgery to reshape areas of the body by removing unwanted fat deposits that are resistant to healthy diet and exercise. Many area of the body can benefit from liposuction : abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, chin, upper arm, cheek and neck. There are different used techniques for liposuction, your surgeon will select the most appropriate one for your individual case. The best candidate for liposuction must be in good health, near his or her normal body weight, has a healthy diet, healthy life style and a fairly elastic skin. Liposuction is not a weight loss technique neither is an effective treatment for cellulite, However liposuction can removes the stubborn fat deposits that don't respond to diet and exercise. http://www.theflyingpatient.com... yes.. its great stuff |
