How much does liposuction cost?

I just turned 40 and have about 10-15 pounds I could stand to shed only in the old spare, the rest of me is fat-free. :)

Well first off, Liposuction will not take off anywhere near 10-15 lbs. It'll probably only take off 3-4. What liposuction does is resculpt your body. And the prices vary depending on where you want it done. You said you want it around the middle. In the US, that'll run you anywhere between $3,000-$7,500. You could go to other countries to get it done cheaper. I live in Tunisia and had a friend who had her whole abdomnen aqnd hips done for 1,500 Dinars ( $1,139.99 US Dollars).

Also, you have to maintain a healthy lifestyle, or the fat will come back, and come back in a double quantity.

i"m not exactly sure how much but after seeing one of those shows where they liposucked a few patients, i discovered it's quite expensive
about $3,000 - $5,000 depends on the surgeon but if u pay this price u should be able to get lipo and a tummy tuck at that price so the pricec is not bad for a 1 in 2 package

it's not worth the price for just 10 to 15 pounds, exercise. however i did see an ad the other day for breast augmintation, and the first 500 people get it done for $1995
I live near the Chicago area and right now it's right around $6,000.00. However, a couple things you should know is that there is an approximate 8 weeks of healing time. You wear a "girdle" for approximately 6 weeks to help shape the area, and bruising and tenderness will last approx. 8 weeks.
Also, chances are very high that the fat WILL return in that area. Recent studies show that the body will overcompensate for the "empty" area by rushing fat to the specific area. So in the long term the compensation may actually allow for more fat in that area than what you had before.
There's a ton of liposuction that's being performed so the information is constantly being tabulated. However, judging from latest findings lipo is not the miracle cure it was first thought to be.
