Any1 know how much liposuction costs for the tummy?

roughly how much does it cost and does it last? also what is the fundamental difference between a tummy tuck and lipo on the tummy?? is it true that if you put on weight it will go everywhere else but the place you had lipo?

Liposuction involves the removal of fat cells from particular areas, often belly, butt, thighs, upper arms etc. Fat cells, once removed, can not be replaced there by your body. If, however, you were to gain weight, the fat would accumulate in all areas of your body rather than disproportionately in the area where it was removed. Your former pattern of fat distribution is not likely to repeat itself because so many fat cells will have been removed from your hips and thighs.

Abdominoplasty, commonly called a "tummy tuck", is an operation to remove excess fat and skin from the abdomen. The surgeon may also tighten the tummy muscles. The aim is to produce a tighter, flatter stomach and it may partially reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

Abdominoplasty is VERY painful in recovery and there is a considerable risk of infection etc. You'll also end up with a huge scar!

Both treatments are painful and in most people entirely avoidable through healthy diet and exercise.

A good personal trainer can create a body most surgeons could not.... but then I would say that wouldn't I. Source(s): Personal Trainer
ewwww
Don't do it !

Just cut down on any rubbish you may be eating or drinking and do sit ups.

I know it's hard to get motivated but surely being in charge of your own body is better than letting a surgeon go to town on it. You hear so many stories about things going wrong.

Good luck to you
Never had a tummy tuck or lipo...But a friend of mine had both done, Tummy tuck with Lipo was $7,500..And the tummy tuck was a VERY PAINFUL recovery..Tummy tuck is when they cut you down in the pelvic area from side to side and stretch and pull your skin and fat and cut it off..Incision is about 12 inches across..She had the Lipo done on the love handles (sides)
If you are thinking of having it done, Think real hard about..Its not something personally i'd would have done..Try eating healthier and Exercising, It can help!!
I hope this helps..
Liposuction,Tummy tuck surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
