What are the side effects of liposuction procedure for slicing off the fats from hips. ?
When you have liposuction it doesn't "slice" the fat from an area, it literally sucks the fat out. I had my hips done, and I don't think there are any "side effects" as you put it. I did experience a complication after surgery. I spent a week in the hospital on IV antibiotics with a systemic Staph infection from the surgery. Since then I have learned that once you remove fat cells from an area on your body you'll never gain weight there again. I find that if I do gain weight, that I gain it in the abdominal area, which I did not have before.
