Usually she does not needs the oxygen tank to support her breathing only during the night time when she is sleeping. However, since ystday she needs it all the time. I am very worry. Anyone can advice? I am sorry to hear of your mother's illness and its progression. Her lung function may be decreasing with the progression of the cancer, requiring more oxygen to sustain breathing. She should see her oncologist soon. sorry to here about her. my mom and grandma both die of lung cancer. she may be getting a infection, or the cancer may be spreading. she needs to go in and find you which one? i have been there its a hard thing to go Thur. Maybe the humidity is hi depending where you live or allergies may be irritating her lungs.Make sure you call her doctor first thing in the morning and if it gets to bad then go to the er. i know what you are going through my mom died a few years ago from colon cancer it is very scary and it is a hard thing to go through. i got a counsler to help me through it. she had it for 2 years before we found it and had it for 4 months before she died. i dont want tomake you feel bad but i want you to know the truth she is in some danger of breathing. but try not to worry because when i started to worry i had long term effects as in homesickness and being afraid of life that lasted 2 years so the best thing to do is to be aware not scared.
