Is lymphoma a type of lung cancer? |
And does alcohol consumption raise its risk? Lymphoma is cancer of the lymph nodes. It can spread to the lungs via the lymph nodes behind the lungs. Alcohol is linked to some cancers, but I don't think it is to lymphoma. "Jenn" is correct on this one and knows what she is taking about. Lymphomas are not a malignancy of lung tissue, but they may grow in the chest area - especially the mediastinum (the middle of the chest).
