Is lymphoma a type of lung cancer?

And does alcohol consumption raise its risk?

Lymphoma is cancer of the lymph nodes. It can spread to the lungs via the lymph nodes behind the lungs. Alcohol is linked to some cancers, but I don't think it is to lymphoma.

BUT alcohol consumption can cause pain to someone with lymphoma. I had severe back pain from it. It makes the lymph tissue swell and put pressure on nerves.

"Jenn" is correct on this one and knows what she is taking about. Lymphomas are not a malignancy of lung tissue, but they may grow in the chest area - especially the mediastinum (the middle of the chest).
Alcohol is NOT known to cause lymphomas, but there are some people with Hodgkin's lymphoma who have pain with even slight alcohol intake

I believe so, alcohol shouldn't directly cause it but I am not 100%

google
lymphoma
or wikipedia

also lymphoma causes

that should give you all the info you need

I believe lymphoma is a type of cancer that affects the lymph nodes.
