If u smoke a cigar one time, can u get lung cancer?

lets say someone is smoking a cigar for the first time and doesnt smoke anymore after that, can they get lung cancer.

OK, smoking (in general) in my personal opinion will not give you lung cancer.
Cancer is either in your genes or not. Smoking WILL help enhance or amplify the cancer gene (if you have it).
How could someone like George Burns (from my answer 3 weeks ago)Comedian George Burns is not only a living legend, he's living proof that smoking between 10 and 15 cigars a day for 70 years contributes to one's longevity. (Mr Burns lived to be 100 yrs old and not a trace of cancer)

Throat, mouth, and lip cancer would more likely prevail over lung cancer since youre not likely to inhale
:

Almost certainly not, but if you are worried, then don't smoke one again, and you'll have no need to worry.....smoking long term is a certain killer, don't be a statistic.

You're not supposed to inhale cigar smoke, so while the risk will be minimal, you CAN get lung cancer.

There is always a chance of lung cancer.

But smoking once will not make your risks shoot up as it would if you smoked regularly.

I am going to say probably not, you would only get lung cancer if you did it frequently.

No, you'd have to smoke many cigars for many years.
