Cancer question - Lungs?

Please help, what are the symptoms of lung cancer? Id it spreads, where does ti spread to first? And what indications suggests that it has spread somewhere? Please help!

How quick does it spread aswell?

Jay there are different types of lung cancer too. Some have no symptoms at all. Some are easy to treat and some not so much. The only way to find out what is going on is for a PET scan, it looks for lung cancer. My Mother had it done, its something the Dr. needs to refer for your dad.
An Xray doesn't Always find what may be there, they can see if the lungs are clear yes, but if there was something in them, the PET scan is what would be next. Dr.'s can over look things, but your dad has to take responsibility for himself and his care.
I feel bad that you are so beyond worried about him. The nice thing for him to do for you would be to get another check up. But you cant make him right?
