I think i might have lung cancer! can i just walk into the hospital ?

can you just go to the hospital and ask for an x ray of the lungs or do you have to go to like a walk in clinic first? i dont got a fmaily doctor by the way

Hospital emergency rooms are for people in danger of dying, today. So the hospital is not the place to start, UNLESS you are having trouble breathing, or serious pain in your chest. If that is the case, get someone else to drive, and go straight to the emergency room.

If you have insurance, and you aren't about to die, then make an appointment tomorrow with a general practicioner, who will refer you for tests, like xrays to a lab, and then to an oncologist, if he thinks you do have cancer. The oncologist will develop a treatment plan for you.

Also, start doing studys for "cancer cures" and "cancer remedys" online. There are foods, and herbs, and heat therapy, and things that are not surgery, radiation , or chemicals like the doctors use, and these sometimes work better. Or will help what a doctor prescribes.

There are doctors that specialize in the lungs, I think they are called pulmonoligists. See one. If you are a smoker, stop, fast. I lost several family members to lung cancer and emphysema. It wasn't pretty.

try a clinic first & they might take an Xray. Cancer would show up there.
