WIll I get lung, mouth or stomach cancer now at age 16?

Alright so I was stupid and tried smoking when I was 15 on December 21, 2007. It is May 1, 2009 now and I have smoked less than 300 smokes including cigarillos, cigarettes and cigars. I did not inhale until halfway this period. I can quit for 10 days sometimes more than a month but I keep coming to that cigarillo just puffing it or inhaling two or three drags from a cigarette. I suffer from depression and have tried killing myself, but nicotine makes me feel better. I am tryinng to quit and I will but I just want to know if I have cancer right now. I was at a dentist 5 days ago and he didn't say anything so. What are my chances of getting cancer.

Don't worry about the cancer , worry about your depression 1st!! Get to a doctor and have him put you on some anti-depressants. than you can work on the smoking. PLease!!

Cancer can strike ANYONE no matter what age, what sex, what WHATEVER!!! But the chances of getting cancer are extremely unlikely unless your way of life is very poor, such as insufficient vitamins and exercise. Or if you have inhaled an excruciatingly high amount of carcinogens, but since your details tell me you've only smoked for about 1 year, it's highly unlikely but is still possible! Beware!

no cancer, nothing. please, for heavens' sake, don't jump to wrong conclusions with a very little or no knowledge about cancer. read the book of Dale Carnegie on 'how to stop worrying and start living' to combat ur self-made depression. good luck to u, my dear youngster. nothing to worry @ small age. u must Enjoy life with good health.

Getting cancer after a year of smoking is HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGGGGGGHLY unlikely.

However, if you're that worried about your health you should do more to quit smoking rather than spending that time worrying. Good luck.
