What is a good Christian prayer to pray for the healing of a lung cancer patient ? -I am not a christian but there is on sentence in Bible-Know you not your body is temple of god & spirit of God dwelleth in you-this is used in our religion also Any prayer is good, and it's not because I'm a real religious person, because I'm not, though I do believe in prayer. You need not specific lung cancer prayers. You need a couple of the basics, 1-Prayer, 2-Positive Energy and 3-Keep in mind it may not turn out to YOUR satisfaction. I believe in positive energy. I wish you well and may your prayers be answered. Is there a bad Christian prayer for lung cancer? Having a husband who has been battling advanced prostate cancer for the last 1-1/2 years ... Here's what I found gave me a lot of comfort. To begin with, let me say that I have never been a good Christian person. A "believer", yes. But not a good person. When my guy was diagnosed, I found that I didn't feel that I deserved to ask God to "save" him ... I didn't feel I deserved that. But what I did pray, over-and-over-and-over again, was: "Please God, please hold him in your arms." I would pray that over-and-over. "Please hold him in your arms. If you can't cure him, please just hold him in your arms and give him what he deserves." I also prayed to God that God would not punish my husband for my sins ... because my husband wasn't the sinner that I was and didn't deserve to be punished for what I had done. Every night I would ask God to just "hold him in your arms" -- and I would tell God that whatever he did I would accept. Well, maybe it was all bull-S ... and I know some people would say that it was ... but my husband is doing great now. And there's not a day that goes by that I don't say to God, "I know I'm still unworthy ... but I think you for you're doing for my husband and I pray that you continue to hold him in your arms." So ... for what that's worth ... that's been my prayer. That first answer is wrong I had cancer and I got better and I pray a lot, I have cancer now (these time Leukemia, first time kidney) and every day I pray, I make up prays. I speak from my heart and won't say a pray that someone wrote on paper and said to read it. I mostly pray for my friends in the hospital then they pray for me. Ignore the first users comment. Prayer does amazing things, and heals many people. There is no specific prayer you need to pray, or any magic wording that will fix things... pray like you would talk to anyone else, and ask God to heal this person and provide their doctors and nurses with the ability to do what they do best. Thats all you need to do! I will be praying also God's words tell us "That if my people will humble themselves I will answer" You don't need a special prayer, just speak like you talking to him alone. May the will of the holy father be done. The ones you say truly, contritely and with every ounce of your heart and soul behind them will always be fine with Jesus.

Scientific studies showed that praying does not actually help. In fact, the subjects who were prayed for became worse in health. |
