Whats the odds of surviving lung cancer? |
Whats the odds of surviving lung cancer? "Lung cancer survival rates Your long-term outcome (prognosis) depends on the type and stage of your lung cancer. The 5-year survival rate means the percentage of people who are still alive 5 years or longer after their cancer was discovered. It is important to remember that these are only averages. Everyone's case is different, and these numbers do not necessarily show what will happen to you. The overall 5-year survival rate of 15% is low because lung cancer is often not detected until it has reached an advanced stage." http://www.webmd.com/hw/health_guide_ato... http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/lungc... i'm not sure of the odds, but it can be done everything is possible!! It depends on how long you've had it and how bad it is. Zero. sorry. There are alot of facts to ne answered, but where is your Doctor in all of this? My father has had 8 different cancers over the last 11 years. He was stage 4 (which is basically on your death bed) and he is still with us. He also had lung cancer and never smoked so go figure. You totally need to have faith at this challenging time of your Life and don't be afraid to ask God to watch over you and give you strength. My prayers are with you.God Bless you. P>S. Remember when it our time to go nothing can change that.Do you believe in God? |
