Expiratory wheeze and asthma vis a vis lung cancer? |
I'm 58 and fit but have some history of occasional bronchitis, and grandfathers who had TB. I have recently developed an expiratory wheeze that only occurs when laying in bed on my right side, and which appears to be in the left side of my lungs. Have an occasional dry cough too. Could this be asthma, or even a very early indication of lung cancer? Am not coughing up phlegm, and certainly no blood. There are several different diseases that could cause this symptom,ie pneumonia, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The only way to know for sure is to see your doctor and have lab tests and chest x-ray done. Might be COPD ?? Check with pulmanologist |
