Does anyone know a suprising fact about lung cancer? You can survive it. Coach There are many chances to survive, because it is possible to live normally without one of them. Yeah, you never have to smoke a cigarette to get it. My mother-in-law, who never, ever smoked, was diagnosed with stage 3, only because she got to the point of not being able to move her right arm and her shoulder hurt so bad. She lived 16 months after fighting it all the way. Smoking has never been proved to cause cancer but to smoke you are just inviting it so why take the chance...... There are family links to ovarian cancer. Heard it at a seminar given by an oncologist for the canadian cancer society About 5% of lung cancer cases are not related to smoking. Comedian Andy Kaufman was one of those 5%. |
