How does quitting smoking reduce the risk of lung cancer? This is a joke, right???? Tobacco smoke is full of tars and carcinogenics --compounds that cause cancer. Reduce the exposure, you reduce the cances of cancer of the lung. Cancer of the lung, is relatively rare in non-smokers --- not non-existant, but relatively rare. Source(s): dad and husband both mds. If you smoke or know somebody that does just please stop. I dont know how and im not a doctor or anything but I know that it kills u. My grandma died and suffered from lung cancer and she smoked. Please listen! They say that if you quit smoking , after a certain amount of time, your body reverts back to the condition it was prior to smoking. Peace! www.phillipmorrisusa.com I'm not sure but it does lower the risk hahahahahaa Thats a good one...Are u serious,I smoked for 35 years and got lung cancer and had sugery and have been cancer free for 5 years...Due to I quit 5 years ago...Everytime u smoke you are covering your lungs with tar.If you quit your lungs will repair it self if it isn't to late. |
