Wats the chance of survival in stage 3 lung cancer.. patient is undergoin chemotherapy? I don't know what type of cancer he has -- small cell vs. non-small cell. I also don't at what stage he was when diagnosed. If his health was relatively good to begin with, he has kept up a healthier lifestyle, the chemo was initiated immediately and aggresively, and if his Oncologist's treatment plan is aggressive, he has a fair to good chance of survival. Others have done so with Stage 3. Rally your entire family and his friends to support him emotionally and keep up his spirits. For many, chemo can feel worse than the effects of the disease. If he becomes discouraged, lend him your courage. You can all see him through the nausea, the vomiting, the lack of appetite, the fatigue of treatment and the other possible complications and side effects. If he is detemined to fight it and has a good support network in place, he can do it. I wish you all great success and prayer never hurt either. Source(s): I'm a nurse. Every person is different. I know some that are at stage 4. And its all about the will to live. My father was told he had lung cancer in 2001. Doctors wanted him to go through the chemo and radiation. It was his choice to do none. The doctor's were surprised that he lived as long as he did. My dad said at the time he knew that the chemo would shorten his time. He was right. He passed in may 2005. There is no answer really to your question. Its all in Gods hands. I'll say a prayer for this patient. Eat/drink milk,pulses,beet root,fruits salad or juice,veg salad or soup, Discontinue Liquor,Non Veg,Chillies,Sour,Cold drinks,Heavy undigestible food. I went to the HOSPITAL to see my grandmother, but it was a different grandmother that they "pulled out" from the archives of the parent matrix trap....she was on the cancer floor and well I do not know if she made it or not , but I told her about the love of a man and a woman and she said she agreed that it is the highest love.....relating to what it is all about. I personally woke to change my diet to veganism around the turn of the century...it makes me feel better in general. I hope for CURES and NOT WARS www.pennstate.20fr.com apparently the exboyfriend of one of my grandmothers DIED after going thru CHEMO...that was back in the 80's I think |
