Why passive smokers are at higher risk of lung cancer?

Genetics, a vegitarian who does'nt smoke is at risk for cancers.
Overall, passive smokers have a 1.5 X higher risk of developing lung cancer compared to the normal non-smoking, non-exposed (as much as can be) population.

This is because the compounds of the smoke does not only get deposited in the smoker's lungs but spewed out into the air (which the passive smoker then breathes). So while the level of exposure is less than if you were to smoke, you are still exposed.
