Please let me know!!! THANKS

Quit smoking! Smoking is a huge risk for lung cancer, but not only that, it interferes with healing. If you have a respiratory infection and continue to smoke it will take longer to heal. Cigarette smoke contains carbon monoxide which the hemoglobin likes to attach to better than oxygen(it makes carboxyhemoglobin), so the body is deprived of oxygen and tissues need oxygen to be healthy and to heal appropriately! Normally by the time you exhibit symptoms from lung cancer it is at a pretty bad stage. smoking also lowers the body's resistance to infection. Chances are you do not have lung cancer, just really bad infection; however take this as a warning and quit while you still have a life to be worried about! When you go to the doctor's to get rechecked ask about the different quit smoking aids that are out. Good Luck to you! Ps. I smoked for 20 years and I quit with the aid of wellbutrin...it is possible to quit! Source(s): Nursing Student
sounds more like larynx cancer symptoms. lung cancer usually starts with a persistent nagging cough
first of all, it was probably the antibiotics that caused you to lose your voice. take some probiotics. that will replace the natural flora in your stomach and intestines. you might have just had a virus at the time. cigarettes are aggravating your throat and lungs right now...

STOP SMOKING: I watched many people dying everyday. when are people going to get it...smoking kills you.

i can't say for sure that you don't have cancer, but, some people find out they have cancer without any signs or symptoms.
By the time the symptoms of lung cancer shows, it's already at a very late stage. Early stage of lung cancer cannot be seen by x-ray and doesn't show symptoms. Trouble swallowing is more linked with esophagal cancer.
