Why when you stop smoking you still end up getting lung cancer ten years later? |
i know lots of people this has happend to they stopped smoking but ten years later they get lung cancer cause you caused the cells to mutate in to canserus ones. when you smoked Years of abuse comes back to haunt you. Yup, my Dad's surgery is next month, Hasnt smoked in 15 years b coz thats itz effect you still smoked & it'll always b there Damaged tissue that cannot fight off cancerous cells is a good reason why you can stop smoking and still get lung cancer ten years later. Some people never smoke and still get lung cancer. The damage to the lungs occurs early, during the time the person smoked. Cancer develops from an abnormality in cells or cell growth...and that is more likely to happen with damaged tissue |
