Is there ne way u can tell if u have lung cancer?

Lung cancer is a cancer of the lungs characterized by the presence of malignant tumours. Most commonly it is bronchogenic carcinoma (about 90%). Lung cancer is the most lethal of cancers worldwide, causing up to 3 million deaths annually.

Symptoms that suggest lung cancer include:

-dyspnea (shortness of breath)
-hemoptysis (coughing up blood)
-chronic cough or change in regular coughing pattern
-wheezing
-chest pain or pain in the abdomen
-cachexia (weight loss), fatigue and loss of appetite
-dysphonia (hoarse voice)
-clubbing of the fingernails (uncommon)
-difficulty swallowing
If the cancer grows into the lumen it may obstruct the airway, causing breathing difficulties. This can lead to accumulation of secretions behind the blockage, predisposing the patient to pneumonia.

Many lung cancers have a rich blood supply. The surface of the cancer may be fragile, leading to bleeding from the cancer into the airway. This blood may subsequently be coughed up.

If you have even one or two of the above mentioned symtoms you should consult an Oncologist to ensure the position.
an x-ray can show small nodules in advanced stages of lung cancer and to be sure if it's lung cancer or not they'll run some blood test and do a lung biopsy and go from there.
Usually you can't breath, your lungs get sticky, and you can't hold in as much breath. But getting a lung cancer test does tell if you have it.
