What was the leading cause of death before cigarettes and polution? Was it still lung cancer? "Before pollution" implies before the Industrial Revolution. Is that what you meant? I believe it was still heart disease (as it is today) and accidents. Aids wasn't about before cigarettes, but at that time, poor hygeine, cholera, waterborne diseases, Typhoid, typhus, Plague, Black Death were big problems, Heart disease - it still is for women Infectious diseases. heart failure was nd still is the leading cause of death worldwide. |
