Anybody with a knowledge of night blindness, lung cancer or strokes? |
I need to categorise these diseases as to whether they are infectious and/or deficiency and/or degenerative diseases. Night Blindness I understand is a deficiency disease? Lung Cancer I am not sure is any of these? I thought perhaps degenerative, but then again some people can overcome lung cancer so I dont think it is that. With a stroke perhaps it is a deficiency because of the lack of oxygen to the brain? I dont think it is degenerative as again, some people can get better after a stroke. Anybody have thoughts on any of this? Help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks Night blindness is a deficiency of vitamin A. Lung cancer is degenerative as if its undertreated it will only get worse. Stroke is degenerative as quality of life is negatively affected if you suffer one. The likelyhood of recovery is not a factor in categorisation. Deficiency is a lack of a nutrient, not a physical lack of oxygen or some such thing. Cause of night blindness http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/symptoms/n... Cause of lung cancer http://www.cancerbackup.org.uk/cancertyp... Cause of Stroke http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/s/stroke/c... Hope those help. u might be able to get some information on this by looking up wikipedia |
